We strive to meet seniors' needs holistically and inclusively, offering a variety of services in addition to our Meals on Wheels.
If you're interested in volunteering with any of the below programs, we can always use help. Please email volunteer@mowstx.org with any questions, or give us a call at 361-576-2189.

Our Meals on Wheels service provides home-delivered, prepared meals to homebound clients, enabling them to remain more healthy and inedpendent in their own homes, avoiding far more costly care-setting alternatives. Each recipient receives five home-delivered meals each week, fifty-two weeks a year.
-
Our Connection Café on Murray and Navarro is now open. Reservations are required.
Join us for 11:00 AM lunch. Activities vary but include BINGO, crafts, and educational presentations. -
Getting where you need to go can be a problem as you age. We offer on-demand, curb to curb transportation service within the city limits of Victoria to those 60 and over.
-
Clients receiving home-delivered meals, who own pets, can sign up for our pet assistance program. We deliver dry cat or dog food once each month to help clients care for their beloved companions. Call or email us to add this service.
-
Volunteers call participants each week to check on their well-being and to report any concerns to our staff, who then make referrals to family or other agencies. Current clients can call or email to enroll.
-
We've partnered with the Victoria Public Library to connect clients with library materials. Choose from the VPL's wide selection of books, movies, CDs, and audiobooks. A volunteer will deliver the materials, and clients can give materials back to us for a timely return.
