Dan Capone
Dan Capone's involvement with Meals on Wheels South Texas began in 2011 when he and his children volunteered as Friday delivery drivers on what is now the Midtown route. In 2016 he made the leap from volunteer to Executive Director. He brings with him a passion for helping people, a background orchestrating organizational change gathered across a variety of contexts, and a focus on client experience as a decision driver. At Meals on Wheels South Texas, he has worked to increase program efficiency and effectiveness. In October 2024 he was named President and Chief Executive Officer. He has also been active with Meals on Wheels Texas, joining the board of the statewide association in 2019, and serving as president from 2021 - 2023.

Lenora Tollefson
Lenora Tollefson joined Meals on Wheels South Texas in November 2024 as the Senior Director of Programs and Community Engagement. A Victoria native who recently moved back from Houston, Lenora brings more than 11 years of nonprofit experience in program management, community engagement, and organizational support. In her role, she supports program staff to thrive in their positions, oversees the daily operations of the Mobile Meals program, and coordinates with donors and community partners to strengthen the organization’s impact.
Passionate about people and community, Lenora is known for her energetic, hands-on approach. She ensures staff and volunteers feel supported, recognized, and empowered to make a difference. Whether she’s streamlining operations, building partnerships, or rallying volunteers, Lenora combines strategy with heart to help Meals on Wheels South Texas deliver not just meals, but connection and care to neighbors across the region.

Diana Alarcon
Diana Alarcon has had an impressive journey with Meals on Wheels South Texas since she joined in April 2012. Starting as an assistant in the front office, she has taken on various roles over the years. Currently, as the Director of Administration, she plays a crucial role in managing the day-to-day office operations. Her responsibilities include overseeing daily data collection, file management, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting to funding sources. Additionally, she manages accounts payable, maintains vendor relations, and assists in tracking donor contributions and donation records.

Irmalinda Soto
Irmalinda Soto joined Meals on Wheels South Texas in December 2024 as an Intake Coordinator. In her role, she works hand in hand with our homebound clients, giving them hope and social connection while guiding them through the process of signing up for meals. Irmalinda also connects clients with additional resources when they are in need, manages their intake, and ensures all state requirements are met. Her compassion and dedication help ensure that every client feels supported, cared for, and part of the Meals on Wheels South Texas family.

Camila Benavides
Camila Benavides joined Meals on Wheels South Texas in March 2025 as a Program and Volunteer Coordinator. In her role, she supports the Senior Director of Programs and Community Engagement while helping manage services for our homebound clients. Camila plays a key part in coordinating volunteers, ensuring smooth program operations, and fostering meaningful connections between clients, staff, and the community.

Sakira Stanley
Sakira Stanley joined Meals on Wheels South Texas in July 2024 and serves as the Connection Café Coordinator in Victoria. She manages the daily operations of our café, a vibrant space where active seniors come together to build friendships and connect with their community. Sakira coordinates a wide variety of weekly activities, often partnering with local businesses and organizations to bring engaging programs to members. She also completes client intakes in line with state requirements, ensuring each member receives the support they need. Known for her fun and energetic personality, Sakira is not only a listening ear but also a trusted resource for members seeking guidance and connection. Her warmth and dedication make the Connection Café a welcoming place for all.

Judy Guerrero
Judy Guerrero joined Meals on Wheels South Texas in July 2024 as the Yorktown Connection Café Site Manager. She brings energy and fun to her role, making sure Yorktown neighbors feel welcomed, enjoy their time, and are well served. Judy also completes member intakes as required by the state, ensuring that everyone is properly enrolled and supported. With her upbeat spirit and dedication, Judy makes the Yorktown Café a place where seniors feel valued, connected, and cared for.

Lillian Threadgill
Lillian Threadgill joined Meals on Wheels South Texas in July 2024 as a Cook. With over 40 years of experience in cooking, she brings skill, care, and passion to the kitchen every day. Lillian oversees food preparation for all our Congregate Programs, making sure meals are not only nutritious and safe but also delicious and enjoyable. She manages kitchen volunteers, coordinates meal planning and inventory, and works closely with staff to keep everything running smoothly.
Lillian’s warmth and dedication shine through in every meal she prepares. Her expertise helps create a welcoming dining experience where seniors can gather, share, and enjoy good food together.
