We’ve structured our Community Partnership program to support your goals in corporate social responsibility, cause-related marketing, and giving back to the community your business serves. Here are a few ways our community partners currently help out:
Event Sponsorship
In addition to applicable tier benefits, we offer event sponsors unique naming opportunities and a dedicated press release.
Day of Meals & Holiday Meals
Funding for meals grows ever more critical to the success of our core program. By sponsoring meals, you make a tangible difference in seniors’ lives: you fill bellies, bring comfort, and improve their overall health.
Food Donation
We can accept unexpired raw ingredients and certain types of prepared food for use in our kitchen. Local businesses have donated hundreds of pounds of meat, produce, grains, and more to be served up as a delicious meal. Contact our Executive Chef at kitchen@mowstx.org to find out our current needs.
Café Events
Our Connection Café hosts a variety of activities. Our greatest need is sponsorship of seasonal celebrations and parties and for interesting educational programs that help seniors live nutritious, active lives.
In-Kind Giving
Care Packages
Our clients especially appreciate fans during summer, blankets and space heaters in winter, pet supplies for our pet care assistance program, and hand-crafted goods such as placemats.
“Meat” the Need & Other Kitchen Goods
With rising food costs, our kitchen especially needs donations of meat, bulk spices, and pantry staples.
Volunteer Opportunities
Delivery Day
Your team will take over delivery on several of our routes. Connect with our clients face-to-face; make their day with small talk and show our community that your business actively helps out.
Kitchen Takeover
Put on a hairnet and apron to help our kitchen cook, prepare, and package meals.
